Blue Sapphire Wedding Anniversary in Kilmaurs

Provost Barry Douglas and Councillor Ellen Freel visited Kilmaurs couple Margaret and John Bannerman recently to congratulate them on 65 years of marriage.

The couple was presented with a basket of flowers on behalf of East Ayrshire. Deputy Lieutenant Carolyn Blyth presented them with a telegram from the Queen.
