Deputy First Minister pays visit to McIlvanney Campus

As part of his visit to East Ayrshire, the Deputy First Minister also took time out to make a private visit to the recently opened William McIlvanney Campus in Kilmarnock, where he enjoyed a tour of the new facilities, in the company of Liam McIlvanney and his son, Andrew.

He popped in unannounced to an S6 Modern Studies class where students were learning about mentors against violence protection, before stopping for a bite to eat in the school dining hall.
