Council to host business drop-in event in June

East Ayrshire Council is hosting a business drop-in event for anyone who is running a business, starting one, growing one, or leading a community organisation that operates like an enterprise.

The event will provide an opportunity to connect with the right people, discover new resources, and explore what’s ahead for Kilmarnock Town Centre.

Guests can drop in anytime between 12.30pm and 4pm on Thursday 11 June at WG13, 13 West George Street, Kilmarnock, KA1 1DH.

On the first floor, you can speak to Council services and support partners including Business Support, Trading Standards, Cleaner and Greener, Employability, Funding for Communities and Council for Voluntary Organisations.

On the second floor, business networks and local partners will be available including Kilmarnock Business Association, Ayrshire Chamber, Federation of Small Businesses, East Ayrshire Gift Card, We Make Kilmarnock, and Kilmarnock Town Centre Masterplan.

Councillor Douglas Reid, Leader of the Council, said: "We're proud to support local businesses and to create opportunities for people to connect, collaborate and grow. I'd encourage anyone with an interest in Kilmarnock's business community to come along and explore support services, speak directly with advisors, and learn more about future developments shaping Kilmarnock."

Attendees are welcome to complete a short pre-event survey, to ensure they get the most out of their visit.

Visit the Business Support Hub Engagement East Ayrshire webpage to complete the survey.
