East Ayrshire schools will NOT be affected by industrial action next week

You will be aware from media reports that a number of schools across the country will be affected by industrial action next week.  We can confirm that NO schools or early childhood centres in East Ayrshire will be affected by this action as the threshold was not met in recent ballots by any of the trade unions involved.

All schools and early childhood centres in East Ayrshire will open as normal following the holiday weekend.
