East Ayrshire Tenant and Residents’ Federation celebrates opening of new premises.

Members of the East Ayrshire Tenant and Residents’ Federation were delighted to host the official opening of their brand new office in the prestigious Centrestage Village, in Kilmarnock last week.

East Ayrshire’s Provost Jim Todd officially opened the new offices at an event attended by Federation members, East Ayrshire Council Elected Members and staff, Elena Whitham MSP and Sharon Donohoe, Tenants’ Information Service.

Federation Chairperson, Bruce Cuthbertson said: “We are thrilled to be in our new home beside the wonderfully talented team from Centrestage and look forward to building on existing and new relationships with all our neighbouring groups and organisations.

“We are a multi- award winning Federation,  and this new office will help us to continue to grow, supporting tenants and tenants and residents’ groups across East Ayrshire to influence and improve housing and communities, as well as influence housing legislation for the benefit of tenants from all over Scotland”.

Provost Jim Todd said: “It was a real honour to officially open the new Federation offices at Centrestage last week. This organisation does a fantastic job supporting tenants and residents across East Ayrshire and by relocating to Centrestage Village, they are continuing to put themselves at the heart of our communities. I wish them every success in their new premises.”
