Ellen set to save time by accessing services online

Ellen Proudfoot from Kilmarnock was the lucky prize draw winner of an iPad Mini after signing up for a customer account at the council’s online portal ‘Our East Ayrshire’.

Residents across East Ayrshire can now manage their council tax and rent accounts, see their requests for repairs or uplifts and do so much more through Our East Ayrshire. They’ll also be able to self-serve online for council services including making payments, reporting fly tipping and pest control issues and requesting copy certificates.

Councillor Gordon Jenkins, Cabinet Member for Management and Resources, presented Ellen with her prize and said: “Congratulations to Ellen on winning the iPad. She has seen how simple the account is to use and how easy it is to access council services anytime and from any chosen device.

“You can either register yourself online or sign up at any one of our Customer Service Centres. If you need help to register, then one of the Customer Service Team will be happy to help you with this.

“This account is one that will continue to develop and grow, with new services being added all the time, so I hope that residents will register for an account – anything that can make our lives simpler these days is definitely a bonus!”
