Councillor Jim McMahon, Cabinet Member for Housing said: “We have introduced the Homeowners Maintenance Plan to help homeowners within our factored blocks budget for unforeseen repair charges. The plan, which costs £18 a year (or £15 excluding VAT) covers the cost of repairs to door entry systems, entry glazing and communal lighting. All the details are available online so have a look and see what’s covered and of course, what is not covered. You can sign up for the plan online, it is really straightforward and the cost will be added to your next factoring invoice.”
