Provost Claire Leitch and Councillor Jim McMahon visited Cumnock couple James and Annie Arthur recently to congratulate them on 60 years of marriage.
The couple was presented with flowers on behalf of East Ayrshire Council. Deputy Lieutenant Eric Ross handed over a telegram from the King and Queen Consort.
