Mitchell Platinum anniversary

Depute Provost Claire Leitch and Councillor George Mair visited Galston couple John and May Mitchell recently to congratulate them on 70 years of marriage.

The couple was presented with a basket of flowers on behalf of East Ayrshire Council. Deputy Lieutenant William Stafford presented the couple with a telegram from the Queen.
