Photo story: Celebrating a centenary

Depute Provost Claire Leitch took part in an event at St Sophia’s Primary School in Galston which marked the end of the celebrations of the centenary of the 1918 Education (Scotland) Act.

Throughout 2018, Catholic schools in East Ayrshire have celebrated the centenary in a whole variety of ways and the academic, cultural, civic and social achievements of pupils who have attended Catholic schools over the last one hundred years have been showcased.
