Photo story: Dance and parkour summer school success

Over 100 pupils took part in East Ayrshire Council’s dance and parkour summer school this year.

The summer school was held in the William McIlvanney Campus where pupils had the opportunity to work with professional dance and parkour artists all week, ending with a show in the Grand Hall.

It was a successful and enjoyable week for all involved and for some, this was their first time learning dance or parkour. Parents were very impressed with how much their children had learned in just a week and the young people are already excited for next year’s summer school!
