Provost welcomes Austrian pupils to East Ayrshire

Provost Jim Todd welcomed 30 Austrian pupils to East Ayrshire for the day recently.

The pupils from PTS Oberndorf, who were based in Glasgow, met their hosts for the day at the William McIlvanney Campus before travelling to Dumfries House for fun team building and educational activities delivered by the Princes Trust.

They then visited the Burns Heritage Centre in Ayr before joining Provost Todd and Depute Provost Claire Leitch for a civic reception, held as part of their Year of Young People Celebrations.

The young people were entertained by Kilmarnock Schools' Pipe Band at the civic reception.
