School Closure - New Cumnock Primary School

12:30pm Monday 14 September

Due to an incident early this morning concerning a ceiling in an unoccupied classroom, we have taken the decision to close the school for the remainder of the day as a precautionary measure. 

The school will remain closed tomorrow to allow for further inspection of all areas of the school. This precautionary closure is being taken to ensure the safety of all pupils and staff. 

All parents and carers have been notified. Arrangements are in place for the collection of pupils from 1:30pm.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and we will provide a further update once the necessary inspections have been completed.
