There were a total of 41 polling places in Carrick, Cumnock and Doon Valley, which were open from 07:00 to 22:00

There were a total of 132 ballot boxes from polling places and 56 postal vote ballot boxes, which were transported to the Galleon Leisure Centre in Kilmarnock. The count began at 09:30 on Saturday 8 May.
