Workers’ Memorial Day marked in East Ayrshire
East Ayrshire Council marked International Workers’ Memorial Day last weekend by laying wreaths at the memorial tree in Dean Castle Country Park.
Provost Jim Todd joined fellow elected members, Alan Brown MP, Willie Coffey MSP and Arthur West, Secretary of Kilmarnock and Loudoun Trades Union Council to remember those who have lost their lives at work, or from work-related injury or disease.
