B7082 Grassyards Road, Kilmarnock - roadworks to start 16 October
As part of an ongoing resurfacing programme, the Ayrshire Roads Alliance will be carrying out essential road resurfacing works on the B7082 Grassyards Road, Kilmarnock.
The works are expected to be carried out from Monday 16 to Sunday 29 October with the road being closed between 7am and 6pm each day.
Due to the nature of these works, it will be necessary to close the A77 on and off slip, and alternative signed routes will be in place via:
Diversion 1: A77 Northbound - A77 - Glasgow Road, Beansburn, Dean Street, Dean Lane, Strawberrybank Road, Grassyards Road
Diversion 2: A77 Southbound - A77, Queens Drive, Welbeck Street, Old Mill Road, Fowlds Street, Titchfield Street, St Marnock Street, John Finnie Street, West George Street, Portland Street, Wellington Street, Dean Lane, Strawberrybank Road, Grassyards Road
Diversion 3: Grassyards Eastbound - Grassyards Road, Strawberrybank Road, High Street, Union Street, Wellington Street, Dean Street, Beansburn, Glasgow Road, B7061, B778, A77, A719, C10
Diversion 4: Grassyards Westbound - C10, A719, A77, B778, B7061, Glasgow Road, Beansburn, Dean Street, Dean Lane, Strawberrybank Road, Grassyards Road
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the closure will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
