Drive through car seat checks
In the lead up to Valentine’s Day, Ayrshire Roads Alliance’s Road Safety team would love to check the safety of your child’s car seat at drive through locations across Ayrshire.
By law, children must be in an appropriate child car seat until they are 12 years of age or over 135cm tall. The team can check that your car seat meets the legal requirements and give you any advice you need, and your children can have a look around the fire engines while they're there!
Kilwinning Fire Station: Friday 9 February, 11am-3pm
Ayr Fire Station: Monday 12 February, 11am-3pm
Kilmarnock Fire Station: Tuesday 13 February, 11am-3pm
