An early launch of East Ayrshire’s 16 Days of Action campaign took place at Netherthird Community Centre this week, starting off a series of East Ayrshire events that will raise awareness of gender-based violence from 25 November until 10 December.

Some adults in East Ayrshire are more at risk of experiencing harm. This could be due to illness, trauma or a physical or mental health condition.

Councillor Jim McMahon has performed the official opening of East Ayrshire Council’s new assisted living housing development – Quarry Knowe Court in Auchinleck, unveiling a plaque to mark the special occasion.
