The new Dalmellington Early Childhood Centre (ECC) has been officially opened by Councillor Elaine Cowan, the Council’s Spokesperson for Education, and Children and Young People, at a special ceremony.

Staff, pupils, parents and carers connected with Stewarton Academy were delighted when Religious and Moral Education Teacher, Gillian Dunsmuir, was recognised by the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) for her Practitioner Enquiry in raising attainment for learners studying Higher Religious, Moral and Philosophical Studies (RMPS). 

Windy the mascot made a special trip to New Cumnock Primary School recently along with Councillor Graham Barton and Councillor Elaine Cowan to meet Noah, who was Windy’s designer, and the Eco Committee from the school.
