Over 150 bikers roared through East Ayrshire's towns and villages for Provost Jim Todd's Ride for Dad 2018. And for Jamie "Tiger" Todd  he was "doing it for dad" for real, on his vintage Triumph Bonneville.

East Ayrshire to adopt Council Tax changes to reduce building neglect

Empty and derelict buildings are a problem in villages, towns and cities throughout the country, blighting the appearance of our streets and causing problems for neighbours. But it’s hoped that this will soon start to change in East Ayrshire, with the introduction of new rules which will make it more expensive for owners to leave their properties unoccupied.

Essential maintenance work planned for A71

The Ayrshire Roads Alliance, on behalf of East Ayrshire Council, will carry out essential maintenance works, including grass cutting and litter picking, to a section of the A71 from Bellfield Interchange to Moorfield roundabout and from Moorfield roundabout to Corsehill roundabout at the North Ayrshire Council boundary.
