Councillor Douglas Reid visited Ann and Iain Murray from Kilmarnock recently to pass on congratulations as they celebrated fifty years of marriage.

In 2018, authorities across Scotland transformed Housing services and adopted a Housing First and Rapid Rehousing approach to help find solutions to eradicate homelessness.

In the last ten years, the Council has completed 477 new affordable or reconfigured homes across East Ayrshire and improved thousands of our existing homes. At a special meeting of Cabinet, investment of £182.7m was agreed, which will help ensure that our communities have access to a range of good quality affordable homes.
