The Ayrshire Roads Alliance threw open its doors recently welcoming young people from across East and South Ayrshire to learn more about the many careers available within the service.

The A70 will be closed from Monday 17 June until Sunday 30 June, from east of Muirkirk to the boundary with South Lanarkshire, to allow for the completion of the extensive A70 Glenbuck Road Realignment project.

Two stunning synthetic sports pitches have been formally opened at the £45 million William McIlvanney Campus in Kilmarnock, for school and community use.
